GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE 15/08/2012

Lord Most High!
Is there anything too hard for you to do? NO!!!
You made impossibilities possible.
You made the Red Sea to part hither thither!
You brought down Jericho's wall with trumpets and sounds.
You parted Jordan!
You brought out water from the rock.
These are impossible situations that You made possible.

Lord of Sarah
You opened her womb at a very old age and made her laugh
Lord of Hannah
You sent Samuel to wipe her tears
Lord of Esther
You made her a queen in a strange land
Lord of Ruth
You brought a husband to her after her hope was lost
You have done these things over and over again.
Nothing is too difficult for You to do.

Lord of Isaac
You brought Rebecca when he was ready for her
Lord of Joseph
You made sure that Mary was the one for him
Lord of Babies
You said none shall be barren in our midst
Lord of Marriage
You said it's not good for a man to be alone
You have proven these things before our generation
Nothing can make Your Word to fail.

You said we should put You in remembrance of Your Word.
Lord, I just did (Please see above).

For all my Family Friends that are expecting babies after long years of marriage, please Lord, give them babies out of their loins.
Some of them have fathered and mothered other people's children that You kept in their custody. Some are pastors over Your congregations. Please Lord, Let the cry of their own babies be heard in Jesus Name. Lord we need a testimony of Children by this time next year!

For all my uncles and aunties that are over over due for marriage. Lord remember them by Your mercies this year in Jesus Name. Connect them to their spouses. Let wedding bells continue to ring throughout this year. Let man wonder at Your Wonder. I don't care how old the female is or how old and poor the man is...You can do the impossible. I shall attend their weddings in Jesus Name.

For all my young men that are ripe for marriage and wish to settle down early, please Lord help them. Some of them are afraid to tell the lady their mind. Give them the courage of Joshua in Jesus Name. Some are financially unsecured. Remind them to have faith in You and that the just shall live by faith. Some are spiritually unstable. Lord, lift them up spiritually. Some wants extra conviction from You. Lord, let them hear Your small still voice. Lord, for those that are confused, take away all confusion. Let the young men locate and marry their young women. Lord, help the young women that are ready for marriage to wait for their Isaac to come for them. Cut off any man that is not part of their destiny and make the women focus on You. Help them to realize how important it is for them to seek You dearly now that the man has not come for them.

Thank You Lord for answered prayers. We ask that this week will be a week of unmerited favour and divine connections in the Name of Jesus our Dear Lord and Saviour. AMEN! AMEN!! AMEN!!!

HOW THEY ALMOST WASTED MY LIFE IN LAGOS

This thing called life. On this edition of Everyday People I am talking about the story of a young life that would have been carelessly truncated. But God saved his Unique Life. Yes! This Life is Unique! It is Unique because of you. There is no other you. No where in this whole life. Yes Uniqueness. That’s what I am talking about? What makes a life unique is what the individual is. What attracts people or a market to you is that niche that distinguishes you from others. What is your unique selling point (USP)? There must be something you should be known for. I don’t know what it is but you have to think about it and create that uniqueness for yourself. What are you ready to be known for? What did Jesus die for? What did the apostles of old die for? What did Martin Luther die for? What did Ghandi die for? What did Idahosa die for? What is Adeboye living for? What does Oyedepo exist for? What is Kumuyi preaching for? The list is endless. What is Dr. Omalu sacrificing for

FALLEN

Our Land was pure. The grass was green. Our Water was clean. The leaves could cure. We drank from the stream With leaves bridged to the rock as cups. As we laved our body under the heavy drops, Our body needed no cream. We were at peace The Palm wine tasted like honey. The village square was our group chat. Words were strong and laughter from the heart. Love was not bought with money. Our Farms yielded with interest. We had enough to eat and ship. Our eyes are closed when we sleep. We worked, worked and had our rest. We were not at war Our Merchants traveled South, West and North. With products of trade for exchange of coins. Women were married not just for groins. Deals were made, no one was fought. Then came the experts with hats and guns. They took our lands and made us Roomers. They deceived our neighbors and made us brothers. Our rights were taken and we became their puns. We were just neighbours They joined No

WHEN WAHALA JAM GBESE! Final Episode!

My People for this Community! How una dey? Last week we started a story on Everyday People and we promised to finish the story this week.  In continuation of the story, below are the extracts from episode one: “I am saying WHEN WAHALA JAM GBESE NA PALAVA E GO GET! The problem became so much that even the neighbors became so uncomfortable with the whole arrangement. This trouble is worst anytime the Man and his wife made love in the night. Our aunty R will always pick a quarrel with the wife of the house. The most painful part is that this man will just disappear leaving the two women to dig it out with themselves. If you were in the shoes of this wife what would you do? Will you allow aunty R to squat with your family in the first instance? Will you ask your husband to drive his sister away? Will you fight your sister-in-law out of the house? Will you start a prayer program for aunty R? Will, you just allow everything to pass and hope for #BetterDaysAhead?”
