GOD OF MY TINY LIFE -21/11/2012

The God of another chance
The God of Justice
The True Loving Father
The Consuming Fire

Thank You for correcting my excesses with Your Love
Thank You for just another opportunity to be alive
Thank You for journey mercies to and fro
Thank You for providing in the midst of emptiness

The road I followed without robbers attacking
Many followed this same road and robbers attacked
The areas I moved at night without harassment
Many moved there and the story was different

The places I entered and got favour
Many entered and were not attended to
The buka I ate without complain
Many ate there and it ended in food poisoned

Lord of my many stories
God of my tinny tinny testimonies
Father of my daily needs
Comforter of my incessant worries

Ahh! I would have hit my foot on that little rod by the way side
Ohh! I would have been hit by this careless police van
Chei! I would have died in my sleep
Men!! I would have been hit by a stray bullet

I asked for a living You gave me a Life
I asked for bread You gave me the ingredients to make bread
I asked for a job You showed me how to create jobs
I asked for money You gave me the power to make wealth

God that took me out of my fathers' dark tradition
God that cut me off from the evils of my ancestors
God that rescued me from the hands of trouble makers
God that helped me in times of distress

To You alone I bring my request this morning.
Update My Life.
Uphold My Love.
Increase My Package.
Improve My Performance.
Enlarge My Coast.
Enhance My Creativity.
To You I bring the request of my Family.
Change their Status.
Charge their strength.
Bless their handwork.
Break up their hard-labor

To You I bring the request of My Friends.
Lift them high above the sky
Let them never be shy
Give them grace to run the race
Grant them wealth for a shiny face

To You I bring the request of MY Country-Nigeria.
Help the youths the truth to know and practice
Hold the nation to stand in unity and be in peace
Make the loathers pay for their plenty loathing
Mold our leaders to be selfless in leading

To You I bring the case of my enemies.
Wetin I do them?
Why them dey beef me?
Make You arrest them with Your word.
Many of them go preach to the world.

Thank You for last week.
Thank You for the success of the 35th Anniversary/Home coming of FGC Okigwe
Thank You for work this week.
Thank You for the rest of this week will be full of testimonies.

Give each person reading this prayer a wow testimony before the end of this week.
Guard our life with Your sword
Guide our paths with Your word
Grant us grace to live a holy life and never allow our strength to go weak.

We have prayed in Jesus Name. Amen!!!!

This thing called life. On this edition of Everyday People I am talking about the story of a young life that would have been carelessly truncated. But God saved his Unique Life. Yes! This Life is Unique! It is Unique because of you. There is no other you. No where in this whole life. Yes Uniqueness. That’s what I am talking about? What makes a life unique is what the individual is. What attracts people or a market to you is that niche that distinguishes you from others. What is your unique selling point (USP)? There must be something you should be known for. I don’t know what it is but you have to think about it and create that uniqueness for yourself. What are you ready to be known for? What did Jesus die for? What did the apostles of old die for? What did Martin Luther die for? What did Ghandi die for? What did Idahosa die for? What is Adeboye living for? What does Oyedepo exist for? What is Kumuyi preaching for? The list is endless. What is Dr. Omalu sacrificing for

My People for this Community! How una dey? Last week we started a story on Everyday People and we promised to finish the story this week.  In continuation of the story, below are the extracts from episode one: “I am saying WHEN WAHALA JAM GBESE NA PALAVA E GO GET! The problem became so much that even the neighbors became so uncomfortable with the whole arrangement. This trouble is worst anytime the Man and his wife made love in the night. Our aunty R will always pick a quarrel with the wife of the house. The most painful part is that this man will just disappear leaving the two women to dig it out with themselves. If you were in the shoes of this wife what would you do? Will you allow aunty R to squat with your family in the first instance? Will you ask your husband to drive his sister away? Will you fight your sister-in-law out of the house? Will you start a prayer program for aunty R? Will, you just allow everything to pass and hope for #BetterDaysAhead?”

Our Land was pure. The grass was green. Our Water was clean. The leaves could cure. We drank from the stream With leaves bridged to the rock as cups. As we laved our body under the heavy drops, Our body needed no cream. We were at peace The Palm wine tasted like honey. The village square was our group chat. Words were strong and laughter from the heart. Love was not bought with money. Our Farms yielded with interest. We had enough to eat and ship. Our eyes are closed when we sleep. We worked, worked and had our rest. We were not at war Our Merchants traveled South, West and North. With products of trade for exchange of coins. Women were married not just for groins. Deals were made, no one was fought. Then came the experts with hats and guns. They took our lands and made us Roomers. They deceived our neighbors and made us brothers. Our rights were taken and we became their puns. We were just neighbours They joined No
